Locating Leadstone Camping

Please note that when the School Holidays begin and throughout August the traffic can be heavy on the A379 road from Exeter to Dawlish on a Saturday morning/early afternoon!  With the help of Google maps we have an alternative route for you which should see you arrive at Leadstone in a more relaxed mood!

Why not use the AA's latest online route finder to check the best route. If you're an AA member it will give you a large amount of detail (including if you're towing etc). TIP: AS YOU APPROACH DAWLISH DO NOT USE "WEEK LANE" AS IT IS VERY NARROW!!

STAY ON A379 and turn LEFT into Warren Road just over the crest, Leadstone Camping is 0.5 mile on RIGHT.

Travelling by coach/bus?

National Express’ scheduled coach network offers easily the best value way to travel throughout the UK. Exeter is the nearest coach station then change onto the local "Stagecoach" service No. 2 (every 15 minutes Mon - Fri. / Every 20 mins Sat. / Every 30 mins Sun) to Dawlish Warren. Ask for Leadstone Camping. The "stop" is at our Entrance!

Travelling by train?

Dawlish Warren is the closest station (about 10 minutes walk) or jump on any bus heading to Dawlish, ask for Leadstone Camping. Dawlish town station is well served by taxis and of course, the bus.
